Our prayers have been answered in the positive. Now we look forward to seeing President Trump resolve the myriad evils the last 4 years gave us.

John_B(): Too old for that S##T.

Besides the George Soros candidate won my house seat … but oh well, less money for next time

  3. Really hoping that this could be the Presidential term where we actually turn some things around. Get Congress to actually vote on all Trump’s EOs concerning the border and really shut it down. Ditto the DEI crap going on in the military. Ditto lots of the things that Trump did but all got reversed the second Biden took over.

Thermidorian Reaction, Jim called it. A faction of the Dems chose NOT to cheat for her, as evidenced by the numbers.

    2024: Harris: 65,816,659, Trump ~70,303,644 (and counting)
    2020: Biden: 81,268,924, Trump: 74,216,154
    2016: Clinton: 62,985,106 Trump: 65,853,625

Karl Denninger is predicting that they’ve handed him a financial bomb though, so we’ll see, but if he does 1/2 of what is looks like he’s geared up to do this time and actually utilizes Musk and Kennedy, et al, this could get VERY interesting.

You are Tiny Tim’s father and I claim my £5.

  6. I’m surprised the margin of victory is as large as it is. I’m also reminded of November 2015, when Americans chose Trump and officially called off Global Thermonuclear War. Back then, I was relieved and concluded democracy works. Today, the conclusion is reinforced. Of course, I understand wannabies will disagree on this, but the historical record of people voting, both in the USA and elsewhere, shows people are pretty good at figuring out the good. Democracy, like combined-arms warfare, works, if you only give it a chance.

Well, the cancer patient (The United States of America) has finally acknowledged the diagnosis. That is only a first step, though a positive and necessary one. Now begins the treatment, and that ain’t gonna’ be easy.

Waiting to see how all of this nonsense to do with the 14th Amendment and the Electoral Count Act plays out. I think we’re in for an interesting transfer of power this election cycle.

Kick them when they’re down. Do unto others as they did unto us, and then some.
Apply the lessons learned from the prisoner’s dilemma experiments. Good and hard.

Withdraw from NATO and tell Taiwan they’re on their own. Arrest and deport every illegal alien (and their children) as the foreign invaders they are.
Build a fence on the southern border and shoot anybody who touches it from the other side. Declare war on Mexico if they object. Eliminate the H1B visa program and deport them all. Eliminate all “refugee” programs and deport anyone settled here since 1989.

Enforce the Constitutional provisions about “Indians not taxed” to reset the Congressional districts. Enforce the RICO act against the Democrat party and their news weasel shills. Eliminate all federal funding for education except the GI Bill. Eliminate every federal agency, bureau and department created after 1900. Combine the Air and Space Force into a strategic arms branch and give the planes to the Army and Navy.

    Repeal the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, and 26th Amendments.

If he somehow manages to end the war in Ukraine – achieve real agreement and lasting peace, then I will call his presidency a win.

I would like to see Musk getting involved and follow up on his deficit cutting plans, though that seems less likely than peace in Ukraine.

Bonus: Force Israel into peace and leaving of occupied territories. But it’s more likely that hell will freeze over before that happens.

…To continue on a, quasi medical, theme; America has just enjoyed a long delayed, but highly satisfying bowel movement.

Briggs ==> I live in a dark blue state and have been making presidential election predictions based on a single piece of evidence: lawn signs for president. My long-term record is 2 out of 3 correct. The one miss a “leaner”– leans to R, but ai was wrong, it leaned D in the end (it may have been helped to lean that way….)

I have friends who really threatened to move out of the U.S. if Trump won — now we’ll see. They apparently only support democracy if their candidate wins.

This election was no Bush-Gore squeaker — but looks like a solid mandate. Looking forward to Kamala’s concession speech.

I’m with McChuck If they don’t prosecute and lock these fiends up it’s just a matter of
time and we’ll back to patient zero.

Trump has now beaten more women than Doug Emhoff.

    Time to act.
Not just talk about acting…not begin the process of studying what it would take to act…but actually act. Do the things that were required in 2016 and are doubly required today.

And if 2016-2024 teaches us anything, it should teach us that NOTHING of significance can really be accomplished if the Deep Swamp once again is successful at tying Trump’s shoelaces together…hobbling every approach, every initiative, every step in every attempted effort to Do the Right Thing.

So… first, fire as many people as possible from the Washington Bureaucratic Blob (and encourage those he hires to do the same thing). Given that 93% (an unbelievable number, not because it isn’t real but because it is so terrifying real) of the DC population voted for Kam, they’re all deep in the Progressive Pocket of Relativist Idiocy and incapable of rational thought. Get rid of them.

Replace them with outsiders who are both smart & determined & highly focused on shedding truculent fat.

And then MOVE! Build the damn wall; broker peace in the Ukraine; kill as much of the Green New Deal as can be found and rooted out; stop E-Vehicle subsidies; de-regulate fossil fuels; incent the construction of more power plants (nuclear would be good); pass legislation which recognizes reality (men cannot ever, ever, ever become women (or women, men)…there are only 2 sexes; kill DIE…eliminate any and all Federal efforts to encourage Diversity, Inclusivity, and Equity. They all are anti-Quality, anti-Excellence; anti-Hard Work, and anti-American. Kill the Dept of Education; it is a multi-billion dollar waste. Get the State out of the Student Loan business (and while they’re at it; require loan payback NOW. Stop any and all efforts by the Federal Government to set prices, shape demand, control markets, and redistribute wealth. Kill Reparations in any and all forms. Guilt is not blood-borne. White babies do not owe Black babies or Hispanic babies or Native American babies anything. No babies owe any other babies anything.

We’re all unequal (save before God and the Law). Repeat this over and over again, and then get over it.

Hire police. Promote excellence within the Military. Get rid of gender & color quotas. Enforce the Constitution.

The list of what to do is endless. But the fact that it is endless should not dissuade us. The time to start is NOW.

Let the dems move out of the US. It will open up the job market for real Americans.

  16. JerryR

Briggs, you have completely missed the point.

By that, I mean you fail to understand what is driving US voting patterns. All of New England voted for Harris. Why?

Why did a lilly white area of the country reject Trump? It’s something that won’t be cured by Trump, JD Vance, Elon Musk, RFK Jr etc. and all their grand plans.

    That reprieve is only temporary.

From the land of pickup trucks and guns: New Hampshire.

Last night was like Christmas come early. When Pennsylvania was called and Trump jumped to 277, my wife and I opened a bottle of wine and toasted the victory of reason over wokeness. With the House, the Senate, the Court, and what seems to be a really smart team of advisors, he has the opportunity to do a lot of good. Of course, the next Dem president will immediately reverse it all, but at least there can be four good years. The icing on the cake is that, once they’ve conceded, we never have to see or hear Boxwine Kamala or Tampon Tim again.

I’ve got my DVR set for this morning’s episode of “The View”, which I’ve never seen before. I’m craving a big dose of schadenfreude.

I’m so thrilled about Trump’s win Bubbles this evening too! Johnby you aren’t too old for bubbles.

Just fantastic for the US, Uk & the world. Our prayers were heard.

Beautiful song Uncle Mike! Thank you so much.

Also thank you for recommending The Chosen, i’ve watched, love it and waiting for season five at Easter.

  22. Wait. Hold it. It occured to me yesterday that there’s a *slight* fly in the ointment of the recent triumphalism by “The Right”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo61oug2tEQ *You’re following the script.* https://treeofwoe.substack.com/p/lets-talk-about-civil-war Recall: it wasn’t the “Right” that won it’s position by force, it was the “Left”. https://d.newsweek.com/en/full/1082058/antifa-portland.jpg And we’ve all speculated that the Civil War movie is just hyperstitious programming.
