The Week In Doom — Vagina Museum Edition

There was vastly more Doom this week, a definite acceleration, so than I could only fit a fraction of the worst in. There will be a separate article on the ADL listing, among others, “100%” as an “anti-Semitic” “hate” symbol. (You heard me: “100%”.) We may need another special Mid-Week Doom.

Item Ban sales of pointed kitchen knives as there is no reason for them in modern world, says Church of England

A ban on the sale of pointed kitchen knives has been demanded by the Church of England as it says there is no reason for them in the modern world.

In a letter to ministers backed by a judge, top trauma doctors and psychiatrists, police and victims, Church of England bishops say re-designing domestic knives to give them rounded ends would combat knife crime by making “life-threatening” injuries “far less likely.”

Diversity is our strength, of course, and so strong is it that it can blunt the tips of knives.

We might also expect, now the CofE is flooded with lady bishops, a mandatory “Be Nice” prayer.

Item The world’s first vagina museum will open in London in November

he first museum in the world dedicated solely to the vagina will open in London in November, after a crowdfunding campaign raised almost £50,000 (about $62,000).

The Vagina Museum will educate visitors about vulvas and vaginas while challenging the prevailing stigma surrounding them, development and marketing manager Zoe Williams told CNN.

Founder Florence Schechter developed the concept for the Vagina Museum after discovering a museum dedicated to penises in Iceland, the Icelandic Phallological Museum, but no counterpart for vaginas. Schechter and her team subsequently launched a campaign on Crowdfunder, initially aiming to raise £300,000.

“As this is the world’s first bricks-and-mortar museum dedicated to vaginas, vulvas and the gynaecological anatomy, we didn’t quite know what to expect in terms of interest, and were delighted with the £50,000 we raised,” Williams said.

Some visitors once a month are in for a bloody surprise. This story reminds why I did not become a gynecologist, even though, as our hostesses assure us, “the vagina is completely self cleaning.”

The matriarchy gathers in strength.

Item Doctors raise alarm on commercial euthanasia clinics under draft WA laws

AMA (WA) president Andrew Miller is warning the state’s draft voluntary assisted dying laws would permit commercial euthanasia clinics to operate in WA.

While supporters of the bill say the concerns are “scare tactics”, the peak doctors’ lobby group said there were important safeguards that existed in the laws of other jurisdictions around the world that were missing from the WA proposal.

Dr Miller said there were no requirements in WA’s Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill for the two doctors charged with signing off an a terminally ill patient’s euthanasia request to be financially independent from each other.

And neither would be required to be specialists in palliative medicine or the terminal illness suffered by the patient who was requesting to die under the laws.

A commercially operated facility that depends for its bottom line on killing people. What could go wrong?

Item New bill could force cops to ask active shooters to stop killing before taking action (thanks to Victor Domin for the link)

An active shooter armed with hundreds of rounds of ammunition and multiple firearms picks a public place and begins shooting. After just a few minutes, and an unimaginable amount of casualties and injuries to innocent bystanders, emergency crews race onto the scene.

Now, instead of seeing their target, honing in on the danger and putting a stop to the threat, two U.S. Representatives say that police need to change how they handle it — first by asking the threat to stop hurting people before taking appropriate action.

It’s called the PEACE act, and it’s a call to overhaul the system by which police are authorized to use deadly force to neutralize a threat and protect the public.

PEACE stands for Police Exercising Absolute Care with Everyone…

Those representatives say fatal officer involved shootings are a statistic that’s unfairly affecting a greater number of minorities, and their new bill would put a stop to it.

“This disproportionately impacts African Americans, who make up only 13 percent of the U.S. population but account for 25 percent of those Americans tragically shot and killed by police each year”

So the cop sees a guy shooting another guy, the cop calls out, “Please, sir, would you stop doing that?” After the shooter says “I din’ do nuthin”, presumably the cop would have to let the shooter go, because the shooter claimed to be innocent. Better to let one murderer go than to let one racist roam the streets.

Or this is just another example in our increasing effeminacy?

Item Such a Disgrace: How Ethan Strimling Betrayed the People of Portland [Main] (Thanks to Frederic for the link)

In surely one of the most peculiar quirks of modern mass migration, these Angolans and Congolese had taken the circuitous route from central Africa to Brazil to Ecuador to Mexico to San Antonio, Texas and finally Portland, Maine. This amounts to a bare minimum of 11,264 miles traveled “as the crow flies,” and as much of the route was by land, it was surely much more.

It appears the government is searching the map for areas of peace, and directly and purposely injecting diversity into them.

Item Genetic Modification of Crops Is ‘Rape,’ Botanist Says (Thanks to Sheri for the link)

Last week, a Native American botanist argued that the genetic modification of crops is a form of rape…

Robin Wall Kimmerer, a botanist, member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, and director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment at SUNY-Syracuse, called corn “one of our deepest and oldest relatives.” In an interview with Wisconsin Public Radio, she humanized corn as the “Corn Mother,” saying, “Corn is sacred because she gives us her children in return for protecting us.”

“There’s a word for forcible injection of unwanted genes,” Kimmerer said. “Rape.”

This botanist does not just humanize corn — she wishes to enlist it in the #MeToo movement.

I wonder what Biden’s CornPop would say about this.

  1. Well Briggs you certainly pick out and present a lot of different weird and silly sounding stories on some of these posts. A church won’t sell pointed knives, gmo crops are a form of rape? ! And that museum…Plenty of crazy news available to read about these days isn’t there?!

  2. There is already a penis museum. Seriously, equal rights. (Iceland is where the museum is.)
While the vagina is self-cleaning, allegedly, I will bet there no sections on yeast infections, cervical cancer, HPV or other interesting such items. They are covering “mythical vaginas”, as usual.

Talking people into accepting euthanasia is so much easier than tricking people onto to trains for “relocation”. Everyone thinks it’s voluntary and will never happen to them.

I am not asking an active shooter to “stop” before I kill him. If he’s too evil/stupid to realize he’s a target, he doesn’t belong in the gene pool. This is, of course, an effort to destroy police forces and replace them with SS-type government thugs. I personally see little chance of keeping that from happening since invertebrate morons are elected and seem to believe if they back the “beast”, the beast won’t make them its first meal after taking over. People are just stupid. (Thus the term “useful idiots”.)

Maine is too small and apparently too stupid to fight back. They deserve to be destroyed.

  3. Does botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer not realize her ancestors practiced discrimination by selecting strains of wild maize to produce, eventually after many generations, her corn? Shame on that woman for the sins of her ancestors. And they did it to their “relatives” no less. Such evil-doers…

  4. Re: migrants….and Portland, Maine …. . “This amounts to a bare minimum of 11,264 miles traveled “as the crow flies,” and as much of the route was by land, it was surely much more. As ostensible refugees, this naturally begs a couple of questions, namely: how can they afford to travel such distances with no income and just the clothes on their backs? How are they able to plan such a logistically-demanding trip? Why do they have international media and legal contacts?” from link above.

Indeed, how is the above possible? Someone or ones are are funding these people, and planning their routes, and feeding them, etc.

    God bless, C-Marie

  5. “Last week, a Native American botanist argued that the genetic modification of crops is a form of rape…”

Sigh. Modern maize is actually a triumph of genetic modification – by the Aztecs and their precursors! It took them about 1500 years, but finally, about a thousand years ago, they got it to the point where the crop yield was enough to sustain a civilization.

    1) Boning, filleting, gutting and coring, all require a point, as does fish cleaning, skinning, hoof picking and a bunch of other things.
    2) anyone who has studied eastern blade arts know that the best kill strokes are slashes across major vessels or do the knives have to be blunt as well?

The bishops might find it easier to prevent the shrinkage of their congregation if they stopped being stupid c***s..
