United States Government To Insist On Love Of Sodomy

“The Trump administration,” says The Hill, “is planning to launch a worldwide effort to end the criminalization of homosexuality.”

U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-profile openly gay person in the administration, will reportedly lead the effort, which will be kicked off in Berlin Tuesday night.

“It is concerning that, in the 21st century, some 70 countries continue to have laws that criminalize LGBTI status or conduct,” a U.S. official involved in organizing the event told NBC News…

“This really is not a big policy departure,” Palladino told reporters. “This is longstanding and it’s bipartisan.”

When asked whether he would describe the meetings as a “new initiative,” Palladino replied: “I would say that this is a good opportunity to listen and to discuss ideas about how the United States can advance decriminalization of homosexuality around the world. And that’s been our policy.”…

The plan is reportedly aimed at denouncing Iran over its human rights record.

Grenell has been a public critic of Iran, but has struggled to convince European nations to reimpose sanctions on the Middle Eastern nation following President Trump’s removal of the U.S. from the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal.

With this, the USA has declared cultural war on Singapore.

And India. And Papua New Guinea, Jamaica, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Barbados, Nigeria, Namibia, Cameroon, Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, and some sixty other countries that still hue to Reality. Including, at least in this way, Iran.

That the deep state and various Benjamin-gifting lobbying groups (which, as we learned last week, have no influence over our politicians) are deeply interested in Iran is well known. But most of us can’t, and shouldn’t, care about that country. Iran is no threat to anybody here; it is not going to launch an invasion against our shores.

But we are sure going to splash upon theirs, perhaps littering their streets with airdropped pervert pennants or in giving them free subscriptions to the Disney Channel.

Hey. We’re the United States of America! And if we insist everybody should believe exactly as we do, why, darn it, they had sure better. If they don’t, we’ll unleash Bill Kristol and Max Boot editorials explaining why they should be bombed.

What if they think differently than we, and they try to impose their beliefs on us? No, no. That would be collusion.

Now the reaction among reactionaries (who are by definition skilled at reacting) is uniform horror, but mixed with resignation. It’s not like we didn’t see this coming, though we did hope it would come a little slower. As I have said many times, Trump “is a respite, a brief interlude before we continue our descent. Unless something unforeseen happens, and a hero arises, or the Great Chastisement occurs, we are doomed.”

The left loves the move, though, right? No. Here’s Out, a magazine supportive of sodomy: “Trump’s Plan to Decriminalize Homosexuality Is an Old Racist Tactic: Here’s why we shouldn’t be cheering the Trump administration.Independent: “As Trump administration announces campaign to decriminalise homosexuality – here are eight anti-LGBT things the president has done.Et cetera.

Well, we can put this down to the anti-Trump mania which consumes progressives, who have convinced themselves Trump is not Hitler, but something worse than Hitler. Or, rather, Global-Warming-Hitler, in the sense that he’s not “literally” Hitler at this moment, just like global warming hasn’t caused any doom yet, but Trump, like global warming, will one sunny morning emerge from the Oval Office with a little black moustache and start Holocaust 2.0. (Global warming with a moustache?)

Anyway, in a mere fifty years, sodomy has gone from something criticized, seen as abnormal and a perversion of the natural order, which it is, to being accepted, to being a matter of Pride, to being championed. This is among conservatives. Proving, again, conservatives are tomorrow’s progressives today.

Instead of decriminalizing sodomy, we ought to recriminalize it. Think of the benefits! None of us would be forced to say sodomy is good, which is now the case. If you think not, try quoting God-Jesus-Holy Spirit to your colleagues, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination”, and see what HR says. Or see if you even have colleagues.

Punishments need not be harsh for malefactors; we can adopt Singapore’s methods, for instance. If sodomy is illegal, as it once was, then so would be pornography focusing on it, and all that flows from that, including gender and tranny madness, the fiction of same-sex “marriage”. Or we could go the way of Russia and outlaw pro-sodomy propaganda. Let people do whatever they will, within limits, but leave the rest of us out of it.

But no. That is not how puritanism works. Puritans are not satisfied with doing what they will. Puritans do not demand mere obedience. They insist on your open conversion. This is why universities, the hottest beds of puritanism, require Diversity Oaths (which includes sexual desire). Once again I predict the expansion of these oaths for employment everywhere.

Update From a new article at American Sun (which I wish I read first!):

Unlike his secular, sodomitical counterparts, the Christian bugman yet adheres to Christian teaching. But this teaching does not engage his personality; it cannot, no more than an object can rest upon air. The Christian bugman still nominally opposes, say, sodomy, but he does not hate them with the kind of fiery hatred such a grotesque sin deserves. The Christian bugman shrugs de gustibus non disputandum about sins once recognized as calling out to heaven for vengeance, which even infidels like Jefferson saw as deserving of castration. To the bugman, the objective gruesomeness of such acts is palliated by their popularity, and thus God’s will is not a sin striking at his heart, but a mere regulatory matter between the administrative God and his vassals. The sodomite is no longer recognized as the moral monster he is, but as someone akin to a jaywalker or litterbug—an offender, sure, but not one whose offense stabs at the heart.

  1. South Korea only recently decriminalized adultery, another severe mistake. In the OT I remember several kings being criticized for not taking away the high places or the sodomites among Israel. As a purely practical matter, I see why.

What was “supposed to be” two consenting adults in private and how dare I criticize something that doesn’t affect me seems to inevitably lead to restrictions on speech, restrictions on commerce, and the direct open victimization of children through the trans movement.

  2. Homosexuality is an effect of polygyny. The Murdock anthropological tables show full correlation between societies with polygyny and societies with conspicuous homosexuality. Polygyny can be simultaneous or serial; it can mean many wives and concubines or serial monogamy interspersed by divorces. The key is whether the powerful men, best endowed financially, politically or sexually, are permitted to dominate the nubile years of many young women. (Lesbianism is a trivial behavior pattern and has no relationship to male homosexuality). Since by definition the powerful men, not gays, rule the society, the incidence of homosexuality reflects the decisions of the powerful men who benefit from polygyny. As I explain in “Men and Marriage,” polygyny is the breakdown mode of a monogamous society, and it is marked by large numbers of unmarriageable (and often unemployable and violent) young men, aggrieved women, and abandoned older women. Welcome to the sexual suicide society.

  3. That which is not forbidden is mandatory.
That which is not mandatory is forbidden.
MiniTru has spoken. So let it be written. So let it be done.

  4. The Left LOVES Islam and Sharia Law. This will be self-correcting. In a decade or less, Sharia law will rule the USA and the sodomites will be thrown off buildings. The Left doesn’t care. In fact, they encourage this.

As for decriminalization, it may not be good but it is hard to criminalize sin. We would have to criminalize adultry, fornication, failure to attend church services (in some churches), mixed-race marriage (because some churches object), etc. We would have to criminalize and jail people for the exact same reason Sharia law does. I’m sure I do not want to go there. I disagree with gay “marriage” and the glorification of gays, but it’s up to religion and logic and knowledge to stop this, not laws. It’s a sin, not a crime. Murder is a crime. Theft is a crime. Bring back SHAME AND GUILT.

That being said, the SAME THING IS TRUE of pedophilia, beastiality, necrophilia and all other such perversions. Either sin is legal or it isn’t. You don’t get to pick which sins you want to make illegal. Same for “sexual assault” in the case of mere touching (rape is assault, pure and simple, and should be treated as such, NOTHING more however), so-called “hate speech” etc—these are sins, not crimes. WE EITHER CRIMINALIZE ALL SIN OR NONE OF IT. NO WEASELING OUT OF THIS. (You know who you are, weasels.)

  5. I think it is worth pointing out the public health implications of homosexual behaviour.

I’m a 12 gallon blood donor. Every time I go to give blood, I am asked at least five times if I have ever had sex with a man.

My dentist tells me there is an avalanche of teenagers coming in for a cleaning & walking out with a stage 3 oral cancer diagnosis due to oral sex.

Anal sex -> anal cancer…GI tract diseases, etc.

Federal expenditures on AIDS patients in 2017 was 32 Billion.

Simply add to the standard health insurance questions:
    1) county of residence?
    2) tobacco use?
    two more:
    3) over 300 lbs?
    4) oral or anal sex?

  6. “That the deep state and various Benjamin-gifting lobbying groups (which, as we learned last week, have no influence over our politicians) are deeply interested in Iran is well known.”

It’s always a shock to see tinges of antisemitism on this blog.

  7. Really, Gary? How many more times will you have to see it before it ceases to be shocking?

The thing about Jew-hatred is that there’s never anything original about its expression. It always, always rehashes tropes copied from more influential people of the past; the same forms are recycled every generation.

  8. Stating “That the deep state and pro-Israel groups are deeply interested in Iran is well known.” is not antisemitic. Phrasing it in sneaky terms, nudge, nudge, wink, wink – you know what I mean – is.

Actually, the deep state’s interest and pro-Israel groups have almost completely opposite interests in Iran, and it’s drawing a long bow to relate either to an international project about sexual politics. Even Matt Briggs, who I greatly respect, sometimes goes off the deep end.

  9. Really that’s where you draw a line on the Trump administration. You are obfuscated that he might (might because he doesn’t do much and his word are meaningless) treat gays with decency.

Your such a bunch of closet sissy’s. Real men are not afraid how other chose to live there life. They just stand by their own principle. Which I realize you have none.

  10. Let’s use plain words and not mince about like a bunch of Kansas City faggots, shall we?
“The homosexual is in the closet or in your face.”

  11. The homosexual life style is very unhealthy. Homosexual life expectancy for men is 8 to 20 years less than for men in general.

  12. Sheri,

I’m not sure I understand your crime-sin distinction. Is a “crime” something to which there is an aggrieved party who could bring suit (or, in the case of a murder, could bring suit if he weren’t dead)?

  13. McChuck,

How’s your plan to become a mass murderer coming along?

Have you noticed they catch your friend yesterday who wanted to do the same.

  14. Sylvain, it is obvious, your English writing skills need some sanding. But why would you conflate McChuck with Smollet /sarc. Are you a racist?

  15. “sixty other countries that still hue to Reality. Including, at least in this way, Iran.”

Yeah, sixty countries you wouldn’t want to live in. And the reality is that there have always been gay people – including in biblical times.

“Iran is no threat to anybody here; it is not going to launch an invasion against our shores.”

    Except for their nuke program.

“We’re the United States of America! And if we insist everybody should believe exactly as we do”

No one is telling anyone what they should believe, just suggesting that it’s unreasonable to criminalise behaviour which doesn’t harm anyone.

“Well, we can put this down to the anti-Trump mania which consumes progressives”

    True.

“Anyway, in a mere fifty years, sodomy has gone from something criticized, seen as abnormal and a perversion of the natural order, which it is”

There is no “natural order” other than what happens in nature, and homosexual behaviour happens in nature.

“Punishments need not be harsh for malefactors;”

So you think the death penalty is too harsh? But that is what your God advocates according to the Bible.

  16. @ Bob Mounger,

“I think it is worth pointing out the public health implications of homosexual behaviour.”

    @ Ray,

“The homosexual life style is very unhealthy. Homosexual life expectancy for men is 8 to 20 years less than for men in general.”

Perhaps it’s also worth pointing out the public health implications of heterosexual behaviour, such as the life-threatening condition called pregnancy. While we’re at it, what about the public health implications of skiing holidays, driving, or horse riding?

But it’s heartwarming to see that you’re both motivated by concern for your fellow men, not just grasping at any irrelevant reason you can find to back up your prejudices.

  17. Deebee,

I am not conflating McChuck to Smollet. Smollet is an idiot that killed no one.

I am conflating McChuck (you could add Dav, and several others to the list) with mass murderer like the one they caught this week (Christopher Paul Hasson) which didn’t have time to put his plan to execution, the Parkland shooter or or the Vegas shoother etc. It is just a matter of time before he snaps.

The sad thing is that my English is better than your president.

  18. Ah, the God-botherers’ favourite fall-back. Homosexuality, ‘cos the Bible forbids it (& wanking, IIRC).
So, what’s your stance on the other prohibitions?
Could we have a post on the evils of drinking wine, in holy places? (That must cause a few problems for Catholics)
I do so hope that you’re also not mixing your fabrics and if you’re a farmer, reaping up to the edge of your fields, or horror of horrors, planting mixed seed crops in the same field & cross-breeding animals! You’ll be in big trouble.
You’d better not be enjoying a nice Lincolnshire pork sausage or a bowl of rabbit stew.
You’d better not be working tomorrow either!
I also trust that your beards are nice & bushy, whilst your hair’s been well brushed, but not trimmed at the sides. (Must’ve been to keep your ears warm?)
However, it seems that you can count virgin women as war booty & keep them, whilst murdering any other captives.
Let’s face it, this religious junk, complete with whatever deity you happen to imagine is real, needs consigning to the realm of fairy tales.
The monotheistic religions that stem from the Middle East are a pain in the arse. All a minor variation of the other, with the same biases.
Rules which kept a tribal society together, who lived on the very edge of starvation & mutual murder, should be placed into the history books & left there.
The World would be a much better place without them.

  19. Seems like swordfish, Allard and Gallon have, ironically, not given any arguments with substance. One brings up strange false equivalencies and whataboutism. Another brings up his Orange Man Bad symptoms. While another tries to pathetically use r/atheism-esque talking points. Modernism and secularism – highly amusing.
