Manchester Murders Open Thread

How’s this for an argument? Forced and enforced diversity is our weakness. Diversity kills. Since it is obvious to even the meanest intellect that diversity is our weakness and that diversity kills, we have to ask why our leaders constantly and consistently push it on us.

One conclusion is that our leaders desire weakness and death.

This follows if we accept our leaders have intellects that rise above the mean, an observation we are assured is true for our dear leaders.

I write this immediately after the news broke, so I am not able to identify the first hand-wringer who will begin whining about “Islamophobia” and “racism”. The latter cry is utterly idiotic since, as all but the indoctrinated know, Muslims aren’t a race. Fear of Islam is rational and not irrational, so “-phobia” is also asinine. Any who use that phrase non-ironically is lost.

Now I know we have several Muslim readers of this blog, so I await their “condemnation” of this slaughter, and that it in no way represents any large-scale, historical, or consistent form of Islam.

Sky News reported PM May “condemned” the attack. I have fifty bucks says she will not (in the next month) ask to close England’s borders. Hell, make it a thousand.

We’ve already heard (I write at 10:30 pm EST) from many celebrities, too, who are “saddened” or who have shed “tears” over—and here is that deadly word—tragedy. Tragedy forsooth! As if the murders were a natural occurrence like a tornado or tsunami! None can bring themselves to call it what it is: attack, murder, battle in a war.

And don’t we have a mayor in London who asks his citizens to live with terror, murder, and wanton killings as if they share the same unamendable causes as bad weather? The answer is yes, we do. Sadiq Khan: London mayor says terror attacks ‘part and parcel’ of living in a major city.

That level of decadence cannot be overcome easily, or at all. Every reader who thinks voting will be the cure for what ails cities like London, countries like France and USA, and in general the West, raise your hand? One…two…three—stop! I’m surprised there are any. There is optimism triumphing over experience for you.

“So what are you saying, Briggs?”

I am saying the West is doomed. Once it gave up Christianity, it gave up its soul. It thought it could replace its soul with…well, nothing. Cheerfulness, money, fancy restaurants, God knows. And forced and enforced diversity.

Diversity (in this political sense) means mandatory uniformity. Thus, forced and enforced diversity assumes other peoples (non-Westerners) can be talked out of their religion and beliefs and made to accept the Gospel of Relaxation (Stove’s phrase). What happens when peoples merely being translated from A to B keep, and even cherish to a larger extent at B than A, their previous beliefs?

Diversity mavens have no answer except to screech and scream at folks who point out hate facts like this. This explains why diversites (you heard me: diversites) are angrier at fellow Westerners than at murderers. The murderers aren’t, after all, telling the diversites their most beloved belief is wrong, while fellow hate-fact quoting Westerners are. And who likes to be told they’re wrong? Besides, a few murders here and there might have other explanations. Like from “hatred” “emanating” mysteriously from hate-fact quoting Westerners.

If nothing else, this proves over-credentialing is harmful. Give somebody a “degree” in “X studies” (where X does not matter) and they will believe they know all there is to know on most subjects, and will not countenance any kind of correction.

Now I have never heard of this singer Grande, and have no idea why the murderer chose her concert. There are rumors that it was because this Grande is supportive of those who enjoy non-teleological sexual activities (the LGBT “community”—community, as if these suffering people are themselves from another land!). Wiki confirms this “support”. But then what major pop musical figure doesn’t evince the same “support”? So that explanation doesn’t sing.

Effects. The immediate effect will be all sorts of useless nothings, like vaporous hashtags, Facebook image tinting, threatless and effeminate condemnations, cries of Islamophobia, cries of racism, oaths of fealty to Diversity.

Long-term effects will be an increase in the surveillance state, more restrictions on our liberty in order to avoid “discrimination”, and absolutely no change in any policy which would in any way eliminate the root cause. Indeed, the opposite will be true.

And so I say again, we are doomed.

  1. Briggs,
Your altruistically motivated outrage here is commendable.
    Ahem, but this?
“I am saying the West is doomed. Once it gave up Christianity, it gave up its soul. It thought it could replace its soul with…well, nothing. Cheerfulness, money, fancy restaurants, God knows. And forced and enforced diversity.”
No you’re saying it for effect.
    Take your toys back.

Some poeple might believe they are doomed but they are the non faithful.
Best leave the rest to the professionals.

  2. The leaders of Islam need to alter their religion to condemn terrorism (Jihad) and announce that anyone who commits a terrorist act in the name of Allah will not go to heaven. If they are unwilling to do this then immigration of Muslims will be ended. The truth about the harmful aspects of the Islam religion must made known and prohibited.

  3. Diversity is a weakness disguised as a strength. Its actually a description of any large group – not a group in itself. Diverse people are not necessarily an automatic weakness but a diverse culture is. Even for those who don’t believe in any God should admit that the foundation of Christianity lent a certain sanity and order to the US society that has and is slipping away.

  4. I agree with Briggs. A society that stops protecting its preborn and newborns, and then its young children, is in decline and doomed.

  5. Michael, you know that will never happen. Many leaders in the Muslim world proudly proclaim their intention to dominate the world through Islam. And they’ve seen much progress toward that end knowing full well that migration plays a key role in that process. Much of Europe will be lost to Islam before the end of the century.

We will never see a majority of Muslim clerics decry these jihad tactics. It’s all a part of the movement toward a worldwide dar al-Islam.

  6. Yawrate. World leaders must denounce the harmful aspects of Islam and require or force Muslim leaders to do the same. If this does not happen we are doomed.

  7. Dear Mr. Briggs,

The chastisement promised at Fatima does not mean the West will be doomed, but it does mean that the West will suffer severely – and suffer is exactly what we are doing. It is a punishment. No doubt it will get even worse until the Pope wakes up one morning (if he hasn’t been beheaded by ISIS yet) and realizes that he’d better consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart as Our Lady requested, i.e. in union with all the bishops…if only to save his own soul and/or skin.

Also, please review your copy of Yves Dupont’s Catholic Prophecy. Evil will not be given enough time to complete their agenda, and when Russia is consecrated, the Muslims will also convert.

Meanwhile, however, no one should hold their breath waiting for Muslims to condemn other Muslims, or for PC eunuchs and their leftist puppeteers to condemn them either. That would be the fanciful equivalent of Bill Clinton condemning Hillary….

  8. Diversity is not what is killing people.
Islamic terrorists are killing people and Briggs you know this, I know you know.

Open borders policy is a treacherous policy for any country and negates the word meaning and purpose of ‘country’.

Diversity is a separate evil which in some ways affects the dialogue on the islamic problem and the problem of failure of multiculturalist idealism and live experimentation.

It is multiculturalism which is the lie, the ‘beautiful tapestry’ and ‘vibrant communities’ which we are all supposed to love and in majority hate.

However it is idealistic to think that such a leviathan as society has become can be turned around so quick with effective result. A rather canny approach is now required.

I see the opposite signs on the horizon and my prediction is not doom but conflict which will be drawn out and which will prove successful in defeating evil.

Now then, how helpful and productive does (your )sectarian chat look now? Does the lesson “divide and conquer” mean nothing?

All good people should be united in these times.

As I warned over a year ago at the first indication that the readers and writers on here have swallowed too much holy water.

As I type there are mealie mouthed female journalists worrying about what children might think about what has happened today and what they might take from it.
A minutes silence from Buckingham palace…Prince Phillip will be furious. Yet he cannot be allowed to tell it how it is. There would be too many hurt feelings which right now matter more than protecting lives.

This should not be confused with the kind of nothingness in response which Briggs’ post suggests.

Briggs is right but not about doom.

He reads the public face of this country wrongly. As all the predictors of the outcome of Brexit were.

I can tell you without a doubt that enough of the right people have had enough. When the British Lion roars let any who stand in her way be very afraid.

  9. “When the British Lion roars let any who stand in her way be very afraid.”

That is both funny and quaint. Truly.

The UK has an economy only slightly larger than Brazil, India, etc. In fact, projections show the lion’s roar to be even quieter in the years to come. Take away Scotland and the rump of the UK looks more like Italy.

Now the chicken and egg question: Does the attack in Manchester justify all of the US — and its Robin-to-Batman ally, the UK — interventions in the Levant over the last century? Or is the justification the other way around?

In other words, who threw the first punch, so to speak? Sykes-Picot (as an example) anyone?

When it is the US bombing hospitals and wedding parties, shooting journalists on the street, or supplying some of the vilest of the vile, I hear no condemnation (ask who beheads more, ISIS or Saudi Arabia?). Those actions are justified as part of the plan for world peace and democracy (such as exists today in our staunch allies, Saudi Arabia and Egypt).

We started the fight on their soil and (as expected) they are bringing it to ours.

Note: Of course the attack was evil (I have to note this so that the conservative equivalent of an SJW doesn’t take the obvious wrong and begin spewing outrage).

  10. British borders are not open. Even when you go by train you cannot enter the train at departure without showing your passport, and the same when you go by boat or plane.

Anyway, the perpetrator came from a Commonwealth country, Pakistan, I believe, and he lived in England for a long time.

Further, Brexit is about closing borders. The problem here is the Commonwealth, whether May will close British borders for those people.

  11. if the West is doomed, what do I do? convert to Islam and join the winning side?

  12. Sunny Jim,
You didn’t like my comment?.. truly?

What has the size of the economy got to do with the price of fish? I’m rather proud of our economy’s size. There’s also enormous potential and that’s what terrifies many who fear fair competition.

Britain is the fifth largest economy in the world. Britain buys five times more from Germany, for example than vice versa, much will change dynamically when Britain, if forced, stops buying from Germany. India! Britains’ friend has 1.5 billion although I didn’t google it to check, population! They should and probably will overtake America in a similar way to China if they can get their house in order. Brazil? who cares, they shoot their children from helicopter gunships on the beaches! Another failing Latin country that’s going nowhere fast.

However, you do the usual obfuscation. The British Lion refers to heart and passion, not money.

Having been brought up on an unhealthy dose of bad history lessons and biased fashionable politics you will always struggle to keep up.

    Sander,
You have to show your passport at every border in Europe but the borders are open and this is the correct use of the term. Border checks which are designed only to screen non EU citizens are working about as well as the US southern border by all accounts.
We have a thing called the fire movement of people which is part of the EU policy doctrine.

The paint doesn’t need defending, actually it is not disputed by anyone sensible. The argument is about whether or not it is right to have open borders or not.

Then there’s the problem of the illegal immigrants arriving at, for example, Kent and Essex coast where they arrive on boats of various sizes. Where they arrive in small private planes from France, presumably, to tiny battle of Britain airfields such as North Weald across the road from me. These are happening local to me. So the borders are like a sieve elsewhere from those places where the border police reside.

As to the reach of your point about the Commonwealth? I detect some sour grapes there.
We’re lucky we’re not being told ‘he’s a ‘Briton’ “fey Knights”!

The point is precisely that multiculturalism has resulted in this kind of thing.
This word was not a British invention.

  13. Sander, without comment box typos:

Ah yes, and lockheed had an R and D ‘shed’ behind the bush over the road as well, quite literally. Just saying.

  14. Briggs. “The murderers aren’t, after all, telling the diversites that their most beloved belief is wrong”. Well actually that is precisely what they are doing. The Islamic terrorists are not seeking to achieve a diverse “multi cultural” society. They are telling us all, including the diversites, in no uncertain term that their objective is a caliphate where no diversity is allowed at all. The irony is that the diversites don’t see that but I’m surprised that you don’t.

  15. Sav,
Not only that but we have the defeatism of the losers but those who think the West has it coming.

The same sort of attitude that arises from a false guilt, either an fashionable affectation or falsely held view of history. There’s no treatment for it but to tell them the truth.

While the pope in non muslim countries are paying with their lives the cowards gloat.

  16. While the people! in non muslim countries are paying with their lives the cowards gloat.

  17. The only doom we face is if mental-dweeb Trump launches nuclear weapons because real estate prices drop.
Every generation of religious cultists insists on predicting the end-times just happen to be nigh during their lives, and of course they are always wrong… every time. Mankind continues slowly progressing out of the Medieval age and thinking to which you are so wedded.

  18. Let’s not forget that people in Syria are dying in their thousands. Do you want to become a homogenous country like Denmark. It’s too late for that. The US must assimilate those who arrive. And it must have a government willing to do so.

  19. Briggs,

Maybe you should think a little bit before writing idiocies.

The Irish ( which I believe is within your recent genetic heritage) exploded about 10,000 bombs in the span of 30 years. Was it a problem of diversity?

I’m sure you applauded, When Tim McVeigh killed 19 children and over 140 others in the name of Christianity, was it then again a problem of diversity?

Diversity has nothing to do with those bombing, the problem is intolerance and rejection. You demonize a young claiming he is the devil. You make sure he cannot succeed in society even though he is born in the country and then you complain that he did an evil thing.

Irish Catholic were demonized by the U.K. and they place bomb. That same demonization is occurring over there regarding Muslim and the result is the same.

The same demonization didn’t happen after the conquest of what was then the Nouvelle-France and there were no revolution (except the rebellion of 1837-39 which included more English rebel than French speaking rebel.

  20. Who are the IRA? Would they be murderous modern Catholics as opposed to the medieval ones?

  21. Joy,

You live in the UK and you don’t know who the IRA is?

But yes they were murderous Catholics that killed a lot more British people than Islam ever did.

Following is logic Briggs as an Irish is a murderous Catholic that killed British people.

  22. @ Joy

European countries in the Schengen zone have open borders. I can drive to Germany and Belgium without stopping and showing a passport or some other ID.

The point about the Commonwealth is that there are Muslim countries in it. Think Pakistan. The point is moot for this perpetrator, though, as he is from Libia. My bad.

  23. @Sylvain

You clearly have no clue about the IRA. Catholics were not hated in England in modern times because of religion. There was plenty of political strife, and that deteriorated into terrorism at some point. But Catholic Irish people were not part of the political struggle and tit-for-tat terrorism between Northern Irish Catholics and Northern Irish Protestants, with the IRA also putting political pressure on the English through terrorism. Big hint: they called the police upfront when a bomb was about to explode. With plenty of time for the police to evacuate the area.

Regarding succeeding in society, England has a bunch of Muslim peers, you know, people becoming part of the nobility because the Queen says so.

  24. European countries in the Schengen zone have open borders. “I can drive to Germany and Belgium without stopping and showing a passport or some other ID.”

Hen ce borders are open as I said and as is the entire point of the EU’s free movement of people policy which attempts to mimic the Shengan agreement.

The point about the Commonwealth is that there are Muslim countries in it. Think Pakistan. “
Your point is unclear with respect to terrorism.

You are trying to say something but it’s not clear what. Do you know about British history and India’s split from Muslims?
I believe you are under some illusion about what commonwealth nations are and are not able to do and what freedoms and liberties they have in the UK, they certainly don’t have an open invitation or free movement and this works both ways UK to Commonwealth.

They are checked through passport control and customs the same as everybody else. The advantages of Commonwealth membership are rather more fundamental than anything having to do with passports. They do impinge on the now developing relationships regarding trade agreements, where the EU had the UK and other member states individually banned from the negotiating room when any trade deal were undertaken with other non EU and even Commonwealth nations. A situation which the British people who count and counted were angry about, the Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders and so on had to deal directly with the EU designated eurocrats! It stinks.

This was of joint advantage both to the EU nations such as Germany and to the US in particular. At least with Trump and his now pejoratively named protectionism we can go back to business as usual around the world and as it always was. Each nation negotiating for itself. Other EU nations will follow suit in due course.

  25. I haven’t checked all the factual accuracy of What Sylvain writes but his central argument about terrorism stands.

I have to correct you on your rose tinted ideas about what happened in Ireland and how the Irish view the English in part. I had close ties to Southern Ireland and know what I’m talking about, I knew people from and visited Tipperary to Limerick, NAAs Shanon, Killarney, Kildare to Dublin including the D4’s. Southern Ireland wanted all the advantages and non of the strife relating to the trouble.

There were many who sympathised with the terrorists above and below the border. There were some from far south involved in supplying ‘help’ as there were Americans supplying funds…Boston and New York being particular nests of sin in that regard. For some reason the firemen community had a name for itself in the eighties for being very sympathetic to the lies about downtrodden Irish. Ah the Little green people, don’t harm anyone! My friends were well adjusted but I brushed with some queer scumbags who’s moral compass needed adjusting.

I can tell you the grass is the same colour as well as in England, it just rains more if you can imagine such a thing.

There are not more shamrocks in Ireland than England, There are snakes. They do fuss about the guiness having a Shamrock on top in the tourist pubs and sing the national anthem at closing time. It’s about the only difference. Oh yes, and the really striking difference? The materialism in Ireland is our there for all to see. You are what you have very much so. So much for the British being snobs, the Irish take the biscuit. Like in the US, social standing is decided on wealth. Not so in England.

The IRA did kill people, innocent commuters were terrorised or attempted to be, and the death toll is not to be overlooked.
To depict the troubles as tit for tat is something akin to saying trouble with the mafia means you’re never finished. Like the Mafia, they were organised criminals. They trained jihadists, too, I hate to be the one to remind you. Some of them did this.

I grew up knowing that on the tube we could have a bomb and never reach our destination. I spent hours sitting waiting outside stations to be let back in. The phoning up the police did not always give enough time. They started to phone when there was no bomb at all and so on. only a politically biased or religious sectarian would defend the IRA as something special, caring, clever, considerate, freedom fighting, or any other positive slanting adjective.
They were and are murderous cowards who should have been shot on site or put to death in the tower.

  26. “Following is logic Briggs as an Irish is a murderous Catholic that killed British people.”
    What?
    Ahem,
I know nothing about Briggs heritage and I’m willing to bet neither do you.
You are accurate only on the point that diversity is not to blame for terrorism.
As to your figures, I don’t take any notice.
…And what did the English do wrong in France? Why wasn’t I there? They are our favourite enemy!

If people could just tell the truth on this topic or we could get to the facts it would be a start.

There’s no point discussing with people who think they deserve punishment and who believe lies fed to them by the media.

  27. @Joy

For people from Commonwealth nation it is easier to get entrance into Great Britain, and because of history, it will be harder for Great Britain to close their borders for those people in particular. Further, lots of people from the Commonwealth are not muslim, so there will be some pressure to keep things for them as there are.

  28. Mankind continues slowly progressing out of the Medieval age

Yes, we have progressively abandoned logic and reason.

When Tim McVeigh killed 19 children and over 140 others in the name of Christianity

Timothy McVeigh was an atheist. He was motivated by a hatred of the federal government. He also hated religion, but that was not a factor in his atrocity.

[the IRA] were murderous Catholics that killed a lot more British people than Islam ever did.

That’s because for most of history, Britain was out of reach of the muslims, except for the occasional corsair and slave raider, whereas Ireland was the next island over. The British conquered and occupied Ireland for several centuries and therefore had more opportunities to encounter Irish wrath. In fact, for most of that time, both the British and the Irish were Catholics; a hint that religion was not why they were fighting. As an old Irish joke ran: “If the king of England woke up Hindu, the Irish would be facing Mecca by nightfall.”

The British occupied muslim territories like Egypt, the Sudan, Palestine, ‘Ir?q, et al. only for about a century, and so had fewer encounters with people like the Mahdi than they had with people like Micheal Collins.

The IRA were primarily political. Whatever may have been the case in the 1790s and 1840s, in recent times, after the Civil War, the Official IRA were Marxist thugs and the Provos were nationalist socialist thugs. Religion had little to do with it, except in the popular nostalgic imagination.
    +++
In fact, that is almost always the case: religion is a veneer. The princes of the Empire did not secede in 1618 because they wanted to become Protestant. They became Protestant because they wanted to secede from the Empire. In the War of the French Succession, princes of some houses switched between Calvinist and Catholic as the political winds dictated. Henri of Bourbon famously declared, “Paris is worth a Mass,” when he switched from Huguenot to Catholic. Even way back when, Egypt went Miaphysite less because of a devotion to homoiousios over homoousios than from a dislike of Greek imperial arrogance.

  29. Why do Islamists terrorize nightclubs, Death metal and Ariana Grand concerts

In secular western society it is currently popular to consider the monotheistic faiths as equivalent. most familiar with christianity, slightly less so with judaism, but are largely only acquainted with nominal . They and are shocked by the behavior of faithful muslims, like ISIS, terrorizing them, killing them, and enslaving non muslims. after all they don’t hear of faithful christians having such behavior. This raises several questions.
Why use terror after all faithful christians don’t do this? One need look no further than the Muslim literature itself to understand the Muslim faithful. Islam has been spread by striving (Jihad) through terror as even their prophet expressed:

Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 220: Allah’s apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping , the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put into my hand.”

Aren’t some muslims killed in these attacks? Why would one muslim want to kill another? Muhammad believed his god Allah ordered him to wage jihad against all his enemies, this includes the hypocrites to the faith of Islam as well as all unbelievers as expressed in:

Qur’an Surah 9:73 O Prophet strive hard (the word used is jihad) against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them, then Allah’s apostle said, their abode is hell.

Now killing another devout muslim (the Ummah – community of muslim true believers) is forbidden, but hypocrite muslims, are not protected. Who are the hypocrites to the Islam? Any who do not absolutely fully embrace all of Muhammad’s teachings:

Qur’an Surah 4:65 But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you O Muhammad judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.

Any defect in belief or obedience to Muhammad’s teachings equates them with the lowest of animals, monkeys and pigs, and are worthy to be slaughtered. Hypocrisy to islam requires a death sentence by the faithful as expressed by:

Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 5590 …he heard the Prophet saying, “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. …Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform them into monkeys and pigs….

    and

Hadith Sunnah ben Majah: 4020 …The Messenger of Allah said:People among my nation will drink wine, calling it by another name, and musical instruments will be played for them and singing girls (will sing for them). Allah will cause the earth to swallow them up and will turn them into monkeys and pigs.”
Any unbeliever, is marked for death or enslavement by terror, but also any muslim who participates in illegal sexual intercourse, (gay nightclub), wearing silk, drinking alcohol, having musical instruments played for them, listening to singing girls (Ariana Grande concert) , or disobeying any teaching of their prophet are all equated as evil and a sign of hypocrisy and therefore worthy of justified death.
Though many westerners advocate Islam change to nominalism , faithful Islam will remain. As long as the foundation of Islam exists, the sayings and teachings of the Qur’an and the Hadiths Idealistic true Muslims will follow their prophet’s teachings to kill, steal, maim, subjugate, enslave, and destroy all that does not agree with their understanding of a their 7th century prophet. since many of Muhammad’s teaching’s are subjective, causing much Muslim on Muslim killing, they believe their entire world has been given to their prophet and it is their right to do so.

It is written in the New Testament (Luke 4:1-13, Matthew 4:1-11) Yeshua of Nazareth (Jesus). a jewish teacher, was tempted by Satan to receive all the kingdoms of the world but refused rebutting that only God is to be served. He taught his followers that God loves the entire world and to love one another and that God is love. He performed healing miracles and wonders which even his critics documented. He died to redeem mankind (He is the Jewish Messiah, the Christ), and God resurrected him from the dead. This same redemption and life he ofers to all who believe in him.

Muhammad accepted Satan’s temptation for the “keys of the world”. By his own words (Qur’an Surah 3:54, 7:99, 8:30) his god Allah was the “Best of all deceivers”. He taught only terror and lust for personal appetites and destruction. He died from being poisoned and his body rotted in his grave.

  30. By jove YOS is correct, as I’ve been arguing religion is mostly politics. What isn’t, isn’t worth discussing.
To say that Catholics in the US didn’t line up behind the IRA though is false. nobody denied this but many many with money did. ThAT is what gave them the clout and longevity. The SAS knew who they all were and could have tap taped each one in turn. Just like today with the islamists. It is politics which prevents this. The modern day ideal of playing fair in war when your enemy is killing you and your loved ones.

However, the IRA even being political, did kill people a lot of people. It was about the haves and have nots. That’s what one Irish Catholic lady said. The one who went to mass twice a day and was the coldest fish.
They DID train islamic terrorists before ISIS was on anybody’s lips.

    Sander,
Not so. It is not easier for commonwealth members to enter Britain. You are talking about immigration now not passports and free movement of people. You are ignoring the reality that the EU allows any EU citizen from anywhere in Europe to enter and stay in a country which is an EU state.
This means that anybody who makes it through the weakest and slackest of EU member countries has access to the UK. That’s not acceptable.
Furthermore as to your belief that Britain “will find it hard” not to admit commonwealth members to stay, you are quite wrong. This used to e used in the past as a kind of bargaining tool by both side UK and the other country. Things have changed. British people no more have free entry to Canada than they have to the UK. Certainly Pakistani’s no longer get away with the sending over for a wife scam which they used to do, followed by all the family.

As to why things might take time to take effect? That is due to the greedy and shallow Labour party importing foreign votes by design and policy. Just like the EU does right now.

It is a pyramid scheme invented by short term politicians and Eurocrats who want to make a quick buck, they were never elected, those making the decisions, there is no clear chain of command either. One exists but we’re not allowed to find out much of the machination.
The “I’ll be gone and you’ll be gone” mentality applies just as with the banking crisis.

  31. Joy —

What was the British position on boarders when it stomped the Boers in pursuit of Boer gold? Or its position on walls when it convinced Boer women and children that dying while being concentrated inside a barbed wire fence beat the end of a bayonet? Just askin’?

  32. Thank you for calling the Manchester bombing what it is: murder.
I fear the term “terrorist” is being embraced by the perpetrators of these actions as a badge of honor.
At Manchester we experienced plain simple premeditated murder. The home-grown instigator is a murderer. Award him no twisted badge of honor.

  33. Joy,

    “What?
    Ahem,
I know nothing about Briggs heritage and I’m willing to bet neither do you.”

Briggs is proud of is Irish origin and he is a Catholic.

He writes about his personal opinion all the time so I know quite a bit about him. Things like he has a dark heart and as no compassion for others than White Catholic male. Female for him are object who are there only to serve the man.

Is logic regarding Islam is a sillogism:
1-one Muslim guy blew himself up killing 20 peoples.
    2-another guy is a Muslim
3-then that other guy is also a terrorist.

    With the same logic:
    1-Brigg is of Irish origine
2- the IRA were Irish terrorist who exploded thousands of bombs in a 30-40 year span
3-Since he is Irish Briggs is/was IRA killer.

The IRA was a very small group of men. Dozens maybe a hundred total.

This is an IRA bombing in the same city in 1996. They were much better at it.

  34. Briggs isn’t Irish he’s half varmint and half giant from the other side of the rainbow.
I’m more Irish than Briggs. Nernie ner.
It’s dangerous thinking your’e Irish, bad for the heart.
    …and you’re not French!
    That cleared that up.
